Graduating class of 2021!

As a Midwesterner born and raised, I am excited to be on the west coast studying the intersection of Marine Sciences, GIS and global development. I earned a B.A. in Environmental Science and Ecology from Goshen College, Indiana in 2015, and completed a Certificate II in Geographic Information Systems and Technology from Foothill College in 2016. I am most interested in the implications of by-catch in small scale fisheries and using GIS tools and community involvement to mitigate marine megafauna fatalities. I will be working with Dr. Ellen Hines to explore this topic further.
