Lindsey Metz

I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a B.S. in Marine Biology, where I spent over two years studying diseases in farmed oysters and bacterial communities on marine plastics. I will be working with the Cochlan Lab to continue investigating my interests in microbial ecology, and will be looking at how various environmental factors affect the toxicity of the diatom genus Psuedo-nitzschia.
