Catie Thow, M.S.

Catie Thow graduated from Dr. Frances Wilkerson’s lab in 2022 after studying phytoplankton primary productivity and nutrient uptake rates in Suisun Marsh. Her graduate research focused on providing some of the only primary productivity and nutrient uptake rates in pristine and restored sloughs within the San Francisco Bay. After graduating, Catie accepted a California Sea Grant fellowship placed with the State Coastal Conservancy where she now supports Bay restoration projects.
